Background
The baliffs are hounding a bankrupt baron who has an angry wife and two uncontrollable daughters. They sound like characters in a modern drama. But if we add a beautiful put-on girl, an unpaid footman who is as bright as a button, a Charming stranger and then wave a magic wand - what do we have? Yes. It is the story of 'Cinderella' one of the best loved pantomimes.
